When we started working with the Oregon State Lottery, their sales were declining and they weren’t introducing many new products.  We were tasked with creating campaigns that stood out but also presented the spirit of the lottery as it is intended- fun to play once in a while. Our campaigns turned the decline to flat in the first year and trending upwards in subsequent years.

Video Lottery Campaign

Did you ever wonder why it’s called The “Oregon” Trail? Like, why didn’t they continue on to Washington? Well, maybe they stopped when they found something they liked.

This tongue in cheek campaign rewrote the history books in a humorous way to promote Video Lottery.

In addition to confusing a few social studies teachers, the campaign helped break the Oregon record for highest Video Lottery sales in a single week. Ever.

Holiday Scratch-its Campaign

Does a simple product like a lottery scratch-it need a long form infomercial to explain all the wonderful things about it? Probably not. But that didn’t stop us from doing it anyway.

In this extremely odd campaign, we created a zany character to host the cheesiest of infomercials. However, the real stars were the crowd. With an outlandish wardrobe and dozens of hidden Easter eggs, the overly enthusiastic audience absolutely steals the show.

Precious Metals Scratch-Its

Turns out combing the beach for gold has a lot in common with Oregon Lottery Scratch-Its. Either way, you’re hoping to find money just beneath the surface. To help launch the Oregon Lottery’s Precious Metals Scratch-Its, we put a fun spin on (let’s be real) a pretty boring hobby. With a custom music track and some spectacular choreography, our metal detectors crank up to 11.
